Nursing Placements in Germany
A structured compliance-focused pathway for Indian BSc and GNM registered nurses seeking licensure and employment in German healthcare systems.
Nursing Recognition Pathway (Anerkennung)
To practice as a registered nurse (*Pflegefachkraft*) in Germany, your Indian nursing degree must be evaluated by the state health authorities (*Regierungspräsidium*).
The German authority compares your curriculum transcripts. Any hour shortages are resolved via adaptation courses (*Anpassungslehrgang*) or a knowledge test (*Kenntnisprüfung*).
Nurses typically start visa processing with a Goethe/TELC B1 certificate, but must achieve B2 German competency to secure full registration (*Urkunde*).
